Turn photos 90° left or right, spin them 180°, mirror them horizontally or vertically, or straighten a crooked shot with any angle you like. Edit one picture or a batch of up to 10, then download them one by one or together in a ZIP.

We have all been there: you take a great photo on your phone, send it to your laptop or upload it to a website, and it shows up lying on its side. Sometimes a scanned document comes out upside down, or a product shot looks slightly off because the camera was tilted. This rotate and flip tool sorts all of that out without any editing skills. Open the page, add your picture, tap a button and download the corrected version.
Everything happens right here in your browser window. Your pictures are not sent anywhere, there is no account to create, and the finished file comes back to you clean — no watermark, no logo stamped in the corner.
The Left 90° and Right 90° buttons turn your image a quarter at a time, which is exactly what you need for photos taken with the phone held the wrong way. The 180° button turns a picture completely upside down, handy for scans and screenshots. Because these turns are exact, the width and height simply swap and nothing gets cut off.
For crooked pictures, the Custom Angle slider lets you rotate by any amount between -180° and 180°. A horizon that dips by two or three degrees is surprisingly noticeable, and a tiny correction makes a big difference. When you rotate by an odd angle, small empty corners appear around the picture. You can leave them see-through, fill them with white or black, or pick any colour you like. If you would rather trim those corners away, run the result through our free image cropper afterwards.
Flipping is different from rotating. A horizontal flip mirrors the picture from left to right, the way a reflection in a mirror looks. It is the quickest fix for front-camera selfies where text on your shirt reads backwards, and it is useful for making two images face each other in a design. A vertical flip turns the picture top to bottom, which works well for reflection effects and some craft or printing projects. You can use both flips at once, and combine them with any rotation. If mirroring is all you need, the dedicated flip image tool keeps things even simpler.
Got a folder of scans that all came out the same wrong way? Add up to ten files, switch Apply To to All Images, and press Right 90° once — every picture turns together. You can still click any single file and adjust it on its own. When you are done, Download All as ZIP gives you the full set in one file, while Download Selected saves only the ones you ticked.
Quarter turns and flips keep every pixel of your picture, so sharpness does not change. By default your file is saved in the same format it came in, and transparent PNG and WebP backgrounds stay transparent. If you want a different format, choose JPG, PNG or WebP from the Output Format menu and set the quality slider to the level you prefer. Need a smaller file for email or a website form? Compress the rotated image next, or resize your photo to exact pixel dimensions. Working with graphics that need a clear background? You can also convert JPG to PNG in a couple of clicks.
